The two most popular platforms for UK game developers last year were iOS devices and Windows desktops.
That's according to the latest TIGA genre report, which shows those platforms accounted for 41 percent of all game releases in the region.
Android is the third most popular platform among British studios, with TIGA suggesting the open nature of the respective Steam, Google Play, and Apple stores is still proving an attractive proposition. Come from Soccer 13 pools and matches
The report — which examined 191 games from 154 studios — also found that UK studios favor the action/adventure genre, with 24.21 percent of all games studied falling into that category.
Arcade, Puzzle, Strategy, and Racing titles are also popular with the region's creators, completing the top five.
